Some warning signs that a product contains egg are: albumen (or albumin), mayonnaise, meringue (or meringue powder), lysozyme, ovalbumin, simplesse, globulin, livetin, lecithin, vitellin, dried egg, powdered egg, egg white, egg yolk, or egg solids. Be suspicious of any ingredient beginning with “ova” or “ovo.”
