I had occasion to try three meals recently while transferring in Cincinnati's Terminal B. Wolfgang Puck's Airport Cafe has table seating, which I prefer to a food court or balancing a meal on my laptop. I was too late for one of Wolfgang's breakfast pizzas (such as Applewood-Smoked Bacon) but enjoyed the BBQ Chicken pizza (cilantro makes it special) for 8.95. Pasta, salads, sandwiches and soups round out Puck's menu of offerings that insult neither the intelligence nor the wallet.Cincinnati Chili is a must at least once during a journey through American culinary life. Though in the past I have shied away from the concept of chili over spaghetti, I finally tried Gold Star Chili's Two-Way offering and digested it well enough. Gold Star has over 100 locations in the Cincinnati area and other nearby cities. Good job! Next door in the food court, I took advantage of an unusually short line at The Great Steak & Potato Company to order a Cheese Steak Salad, essentially the contents of a cheese steak sandwich splayed over a bed of lettuce. It served well as a snack, but next time I'll order an extra cheese steak and scatter the contents over the salad so as to increase the ratio of meat to bunny food. I expect to still come in under $10.00 with this tactic.
